Section Leader (2 years)

I was in the Portola High School Bands performing on the French Horn for four years. I was section leader in the Concert Band and section leader in the Symphonic Band, and am currently in my second year of Wind Ensemble.

I have been in the Portola High School Marching Band for four years. Through early morning practices and the dedication of the group, we, the Pride of Portola Marching Band, obtained 1st out of 5 bands at the South Coast Invitational, 3rd out of 22 bands in the California State Band Competition (CSBC) 4A Division Championships, and 11th out of the 200 bands in the CSBC State Finals in the 2023 Field Season. We are still going strong with the most recent placing being 2nd place at the Capistrano Valley Field Show with a score of 82.550.
